Hi all:
It sounds from Aunt Monica's comments that Aunt Patty has been ill...sorry to hear that...hope you are feeling much better and that all those Kingstons and those associated with them out there are mending.  We will be thinking about you.  We had a lovely snowfall overnight and early this morning...about 8 cm or so...went for a walk to the shore early this a.m. and it was truly lovely.
Love to all,
Brenda

Hi All:
I have happy, if shocking news, the Al Kingston family is expecting their second set of twins! Mark and Jennifer just found out yesterday that they will be doubling the their number of children.  This time, the twins are expected to be identical.  After Benjamin and Monika were born, Jennifer got lots of practise looking after baby twins while also managing 2 year old Tyler so I think she do fanastically.  Congratulations Jennifer and Mark!!! I hope Mark has been able to get himself up off the floor by now! JoAnn

A NASA effort has a new probe on its way to Saturn to take the best pictures ever.  Although it doesn't arrive until next summer, it sent back its first picture this evening and thought it was very cool.  I shall link it here. John

Hi All: Pat gets home this morning to begin his Christmas holidays.  He and I leave for Calgary this afternoon for his company's Christmas party.  It should be fun. We are having a murder mystery night.  We have to be back for Monika and Benjamin's hockey game on Staurday, so we can't have too much fun.  We are going to the Nutcracker on Sunday with some friends and their children. It has become an annual tradition for our little family since going with Mary Ellen and her Rebecca two years ago.  I think that Benjamin is finally over his nervousness about the Mouse King.  It should be a more relaxing weekend. (The children and I had three parties, two hockey games, tae kwon do and church to get to last weekend.)  It will be good to have a second parent around again too! I hope everyone is enjoying the Advent season! JoAnn

Merry Christmas everyone,

I hope everyone has a fun and relaxing holiday. I have only another day at the College and then I will be heading out for a long vacation. I can't wait. I am much more tired this year than any others.

Katie-Rose has a cast on her right arm this Christmas. She fell and broke her baby finger last week. In mid-September she broke her 2 front teeth off at a playground. OUCH! She is really accident prone. I think it is because she is a 4 year old in a 7 year old's body. Her cast is like a weapon of mass destruction. Rebecca has been accidentily hit a few times while they have been dancing and her bangs with it against her bedroom wall in the middle of the night make me jump out of bed. Ahhhh, perhaps that is the reason I am so tired. :) Well I best be off. Have a great break....ME

Merry Christmas!
Just in from 4pm mass on xmas eve. I noted Mary Ellen and her family took up the offatory. Nice to say a quick hello Mary Ellen..her kids were all eyes for Mary's Erin who is a frequent babysitter for over there. Ed Rawlinson helped serve holy communion.
Folks are great..nice day to melt snow here with a temp of around plus 9. Sitting down shortly for a big xmas dinner and the whole family is here.
Have not had a chance to visit George and Stephanie as I hear they are off to St. John however I hope to visit them over the weekend on their return.
Anyhow, HAPPY HOLIDAYS everyone.
John

Hello All,
Hard to believe a week on the Miramichi has gone by so quickly and heading out to the Moncton airport in the morning. A great feast (feast #6 in 7 days) here this evening with Father Broderick, Carmel and Mary, George and Stephanie and all the Vickers clan. About 20 in attendance. Like eating with a congregation. Food was good although I am biased as the chief cook on duty for most of the day...:-)

It has been the mildest xmas holiday in 117 years for the Maritimes. Never thought it would be milder in NB for Christmas than the west coast.

Hi:
Monika and I are home tonight alone. Pat and Benjamin are off to the Oilers' game tonight thanks to John Kingston. John could not use his tickets since he and family left for Las Vegas today to visit Beth and her family. Benjamin was sooo excited to get the tickets! I am sure he will not forget this night.
Dad is recovering from gall bladder surgury that he had earler today. He has had quite the year with operations on his heart, knee (less than 5 weeks ago) and now this one. The Lord willing he'll be up and about soon and not have to go under the knife again for a long time! JoAnn
